About the tours:

Upon arrival at the house you will enter the garage to join a tour group. You will have

the opportunity to talk with a variety of the sponsors and view videos of the house being

built. A tour guide will take you through the house while describing the design, construction

process, and products included to make this a high-performance house. Sponsors of the interior materials and furnishings will also be available to visit with.

About the house:

In the kitchen/great room is a very unique island design -- it is a chameleon island.  The great room is flexible to meet eveyone's needs.  The dining table can be moved out of the dining/flex room and into the great room. Then a 4' X 8' section of the kitchen island can be moved into the flex room to serve as a crafting table, gift wrapping area -- whatever the family wants and needs. Remaining in the kitchen is a convenient 8' X 4' island.

You will also see that our Interior Designer selected finishes and furnishings to provide a santuary from the busy, fast-paced, noisy, outside environment.

The Make-A-Wish Room:

A wish is much more than just a nice thing. Wishes strengthen wish kids and their families, rally communities together, and change the lives of everyone involved. During the tour, see the bedroom that has been designed to reflect the imagination one local child who wished to be a zookeeper. We will accept donations for Make-A-Wish North Texas to help grant more heartfelt wishes for other local children battling life-threatening medical conditions
